Strings ‘n Things Is an acoustic band, based in the Manawatu, which plays music from many genres including Folk, Jazz, Blues, Celtic, Country, Bluegrass, NZ, Classics such as: Beatles, Dylan, Van Morrison, The Doors through to Norah Jones & Eva Cassidy, as well as Originals & even children’s songs. ‘Songbird’ Sue Pugmire leads the band with a diverse range of vocal styles, the multi-talented Stephanie Hunter plays them all with ease, as well as adding vocal harmonies & David’s guitar playing has been likened to guitar greats Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Satriani, & Joe Pass, with good reason!
