In a candlelit Victorian bed chamber, Blackbird Ensemble’s Dreams explores music inspired by our subconscious minds, dream states, nightmares, lullabies and rituals of the bedroom.

Featuring nine multi-instrumentalists considered New Zealand’s foremost contemporary classical musicians, and led by renowned Auckland composer Claire Cowan.

The ensemble fuses classical arrangements with vital pop music, from Stravinsky to The Smiths and Radiohead. Prepare to be whisked away by stories you could only dream up.
