Music

Electrifying. Soulful. Compelling.

Tower of Power – the seminal funk outfit of the 1970s – are coming to New Zealand for one show only this October.

Get ready to groove to the band which changed the face of music, bringing funk to the mainstream at a time when Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead were shaping the rock scene at the height of the 1960s psychedelic movement.

Fathers of numerous Top 40 hits including funk anthem, ‘What is Hip’, the band has millions of fans worldwide, including US President Barack Obama, who included them alongside Prince and Aretha Franklin on his 2016 Spotify Summer Playlist.
