After I pay how long am I entitled to skate for?
You will be able to skate for 90 minutes from the time you purchase your ticket.

Can we go skating at any time?
Yes, the rink will be open to skate from 10am to 10pm. You will get 90 minutes to skate from the time you purchase your ticket.

Who can use the skate aids?
Skate Aids are available to both kids and adults. They are purchased on a first come first served basis.

Can we hire skates?
Yes, we have our standard rentals and Platinum hire skates. Our standard rentals are included in the general admission price. If you want our more comfortable and more professional style boot there will be a small extra cost.

How long before a session should we turn up?
Please allow time to buy tickets and put on your skates. We suggest 10-15 minutes before the session time.

Do spectators pay?
Parents or Guardians are allowed in as spectators for free.

Will my bag be safe?
We have lockers available to keep anything for safe keeping.

How cold is it?
Cold enough to freeze a block of ice! Due to this fact, it is going to be cold. Keep in mind the weather to ensure maximum comfort even though the rink is covered.

How old do children have to be to skate?
We advise that children be 3 years and over to come skating. If your child is 6 years or under we strongly advise you to bring a bike helmet for them to skate in, as well as some gloves to keep their little hands warm!

Can I reserve a skate aid?
They are on a first come first serve basis.

Can I bring my own food and beverages?
Yes.

Do you give group discounts?
Yes, we give discounts for groups of 15 or more people. Please check our group bookings page for prices or enquire on the phone.

What clothing is recommended?
While skating will normally warm you up, it is advised that you bring warm clothing. Long sleeved tops and pants are recommended. Comfortable clothes that you can move freelyin are ideal – and don’t forget, if you fall over, you may get wet depending on the ice condition!  Always wear socks for warmthand comfort while you are skating. We also recommend that small children wear gloves to keep their hands nice and warm. Scarves and beanies are optional.

Do I need any safety equipment?
While ice skating is a safe and fun activity, Paradice recommends that our guests use helmets while they are skating (which are free of charge) and we also have Skate Aids for hire.
