Matariki at Auckland Live, Basement and Q

12 Jun - 8 Jul 2017

AOTEA CENTRE, BRUCE MASON CENTRE, BASEMENT THEATRE, Q Theatre

A stellar lineup of theatre, music, dance and world premieres for Matariki is set to light up Auckland Live this June. Top New Zealand talent will headline venues in and around Aotea Square including Q Theatre and Basement Theatre.

Matariki, or Māori New Year, is traditionally a time of reflection, to remember our tupuna and to give thanks.

At Auckland Live it’s also a great time to celebrate the brilliant lineup of live arts and performances on offer in Tāmaki Makaurau, from contemporary new works to free family entertainment to traditional Māori art forms.
