Contact tracing

As part of the Ministry of Health’s Alert Level 2 measures, we are required to have contact tracing in place at point of entry in all our venues for our staff and visitors.

Contact tracing requires everyone to sign in at the Level 3 Aotea Centre entry and/or The Terrace Cafe entrance.

You can choose to scan the Health QR code using the Ministry of Health’s NZ Covid Tracer app on your mobile phone at entry, or sign-in manually.

Visitors do not need to check out.

Our friendly staff will be on hand at Level 3 to help with the process.

Health and Safety

In accordance with the Ministry of Health’s Alert Level 2 health and safety guidelines, hand sanitiser units are situated throughout the Aotea Centre, its foyers, and The Terrace Cafe.

Cleaning of our venues, surfaces and offices has increased and high touch surfaces are cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Physical distancing is in place in our venues – i.e., one metre between friends, families and colleagues, two metres between strangers.

Ministry of Health signage advising of additional health and safety messages is displayed in all our venues and spaces.

Our Housekeeping, Security, Café and Front of House teams are all wearing facemasks, which are optional for visitors and the public.
