Auckland Live Summer in the Square

Unfortunately, due to the current weather forecast, today’s events for Pride in the Square, as part of Auckland Live Summer in the Square, are cancelled.  At this stage, tomorrow’s programme will go ahead as planned, so we hope to see you there!  

 

It’s time to soak up the fun in the sun, because your favourite summer hang-out is set to return this February! With an epic programme of four fun-filled weekends, we’re keeping your sun-kissed days and balmy nights packed full of FREE summer entertainment. 

Sashay into summer with Fiesta in the Square (3 – 5 Feb), chill out with live music and cool moves from all around the world at Beats in the Square (10 – 11 Feb) and get ready for flips and tricks at Circus in the Square (17 – 18 Feb). Rounding off the month, we have Auckland Pride Festival's epic annual takeover of queer joy at Pride in the Square (24 – 25 Feb). 

If you’re in town during the week, come celebrate Kapa Haka during the lead up to Te Matatini! We’ll be sharing performance highlights from 2019 and more at Haka on the Screen.

Auckland Live Summer in the Square will also play host to food trucks, DJs, outdoor films, and more. So, gather your friends and whānau for a scorching good time, because this February, Aotea Square is the place to be!
