Seven Sharp's Daniel Faitaua Struts Backstage at Kinky Boots

Seven Sharp's Daniel Faitaua struts his way backstage into The Civic in the lead up to opening night of Kinky Boots. Faitaua sat with Stewart Adam McKensy, the actor playing the lead, to discuss what the story means to him as well as what his character Lola has taught him about himself.

"People need to see Kinky Boots, because it's something that they need. With everything that's going on in this world today, it's a lot. And so to come to the theatre and to let go and to let loose and to take in, especially this show, they'll leave with something they've never experienced before." McKensy said.

Faitaua summarises it best, Kinky Boots is "a story of acceptance and hope. With the reminder the only way to succeed in life is to put your best foot forward."
