10am: Coffee along the Viaduct
Wynyard Quarter is a precinct of vibrant inner-city living. A wide range of cafes are available to choose from on your way from Britomart and Fanshawe Street to the Viaduct Events Centre.

11am:  Start Your Day at the Aotearoa Art Fair
Head to the Viaduct Events Centre for the Aotearoa Art Fair, New Zealand’s premier art fair. With an exciting mix of established and emerging artists, you’ll have the chance to see a diverse range of artworks, from paintings and sculptures to stunning works on paper. Whether you're looking to start or expand your collection, this is the place to discover something truly special.

Hear a talk at the Fair, Collecting Art at Home and Abroad, about what does it take to build a truly dynamic and diverse art collection? Industry experts discuss the complexities of both the domestic and international art scene. Moderated by Andrew Smith with speakers Andrew Jensen, Kym Elphinstone and Mary Vavasour. At Talks Theatre, Viaduct Events Centre.

2pm: Step Outside for the Sculpture Trail
After soaking up the art indoors, it’s time to step out and explore the Aotearoa Art Fair Sculpture Trail, presented by Viaduct Harbour. Stretching across the stunning waterfront and Wynyard Quarter, this outdoor exhibit features large-scale sculptures from local and international artists, offering a unique way to experience art in an open-air setting. It’s the perfect chance to see how art interacts with the natural environment, all while enjoying the beautiful Auckland skyline.
