These talented young musicians are participants of the Inspire Partnership Programme – an Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra initiative - and will perform a range of music over the course of the week.
Mazzoli String Trio

Three of the best string players from the University of Auckland’s School of Music present a lush and varied string programme.
Past and present University of Auckland Classical Performance students present a programme of jazz, pop hits, and New Zealand and Latin American favourites.
Flute Quartet

Classics fit for a summer evening, from Debussy to flute favourites.
This dynamic voice and piano duo will be presenting two contrasting programmes: European Summer featuring operatic classics as well as Princess Songs – Disney-inspired tunes.
Le Chéile – Low Brass Septet
Wednesday 15 February, 5pm – 6pm
They’ll be performing a mix of classical favourites arranged for trombone and tuba, as well as getting their swing on for a bit of jazz.
Korimako Trio
Thursday 16 February, 4pm – 5pm
Playing piano trio favourites, from the passion of Brahms Piano Trio No. 2, to the playful contemporary work of NZ composer Claire Cowan.
University of Auckland Saxophone Quartet
Thursday 16 Febrary, 5pm – 6pm
Soprano, alto, tenor and baritone – this quartet of saxophones will present a mix of classical music and jazz tunes.
Michael Howell Trio
Friday 17 February, 5pm – 6pm
The trio performs a range of original compositions. Their repertoire combines improvisation and free improvisation as well as swing, Latin and punk.
