It’s the season for singing and we have put together a line-up of some of the best Auckland choirs.
GALS Choir
Friday 8 December, 6pm – 6.45pm
GALS sing loud and proud and come from right across the rainbow community. They have been performing for 25 years and put a fresh spin on everything from contemporary chart toppers to much-loved classics.
Sister Shout
Friday 8 December, 7pm – 7.45pm
Travelling over from Waiheke Island especially for us, this all-female choir will sing up a storm, covering everything from pop songs to Motown, and folk to country and blues.
Stimmung Choir
Friday 8 December, 8pm – 8.45pm
Stimmung performs their original arrangements of artists such as Radiohead, Kanye West and Queens of the Stone Age. Musical Director: Robin Kelly.
Auckland Symphony Orchestra Choir
Friday 8 December, 9pm – 9.15pm
Enjoy traditional carols from a choir of over 100 singers and the brass section of the Auckland Symphony Orchestra, following their concert in the Great Hall. Expect to hear some of your favourites!
