The Academy Award-qualifying international documentary film festival returns for 2020 with a twist: it's online and nationwide!
Previous years the Festival’s celebrated filmmakers with an awards night held in The Civic's Wintergarden, and earlier this year we were lucky enough to see some great Doc Edge films during Auckland Live Summer in the Square on the Auckland Live Digital Stage.
This year, the Festival celebrates its fifteenth birthday with a full line-up of eighty-three extraordinary true stories to enjoy at your home, over twenty-four glorious days.
Of the films, fifty-six include award-winning, world and international premieres, and are available to watch for only $11 each (plus fees). Twenty-six shorts are available to watch free, thanks to festival partner Chorus.
Plus, scheduled screenings and live Q&A sessions with filmmakers make it feel like a true film festival.
