After being on our calendar for the first time in 2021, the Interislander Bean Rock Swim is back (of course!) and for 2022 is proudly introducing an Amphibian to the programme!

The Interislander Bean Rock Swim is shaping up to be an amazing afternoon, and evening, of ocean swimming, running along the waterfront, music, food, activities and hopefully that spectacular Auckland sunshine!

This is your chance to swim from the lively beachfront of Mission Bay and out and around the back of the largest navigational marker in the Waitemata Harbour – the Bean Rock Lighthouse. Did you know Bean Rock is the only remaining wooden cottage-style lighthouse in New Zealand and one of a very few in the world? It’s a must swim event!

Plus in keeping with our ‘bean’ theme, the crew of Interislander will be there to replenish your energy levels with jelly beans!
