Superhero Second Line are a New Orleans second line style band comprising of a mix of performers from all backgrounds. Originally formed between a group of friends from around the country who had performed in different bands together from brass bands to reggae bands. The band quickly grew with additions of horn players and drummers with classical and jazz backgrounds. The band play a mixture of popular traditional tunes and modern covers with a few of their own originals thrown in. Drawing heavy influences from Rebirth Brass Band, Soul Rebels, Kermit Ruffins and Louis Armstrong, this high energy band is a mixing pot of culture and identity not to be missed!
