Caleb Matafeo, Senior Account Manager
Caleb Matafeo is the Senior Account Manager at Auckland Live, helping to lead a team of account managers, responsible for client relationships, as well as the booking and contracting of events in Auckland Live venues. Caleb also manages accounts for several of Auckland Live’s resident hirers including Auckland Writers Festival, Auckland Philharmonia, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, The Royal New Zealand Ballet, New Zealand Opera, and Chamber Music New Zealand.
Born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau, Caleb grew up around Auckland’s inner-city venues, attending many events and falling in love with both those events and the spaces they were presented in. Caleb believes that live events are the heart of Auckland’s CBD, and he is passionate about ensuring there is always something to see and do in our great city.
Caleb has 15 years of experience in venue management and is a graduate of VMA’s Venue Management School and Leadership Institute, holding a Diploma of Venues and Events. He uses his experience to facilitate access to Auckland Live venues for both hirers and audiences of Auckland Live’s venues.
