Is this an online only event?

Yes, while the performance is taking place live in the Auckland Town Hall, the audience will be watching online. Hawaiki TŪ would have liked to have offered this event as a live performance but due to Covid-19 restrictions Taurite is an online event.

If it’s after 5:30 PM on Wednesday 16 September can I still buy a ticket?

No, all tickets must be bought before Wednesday 16 September, 5:30 PM

I have bought a ticket but have not received the website link to view the performance?

All ticket-buyers will be emailed a website link and unique, single-use password from Auckland Live at 6pm on Wednesday 16 September. This link will enable patrons to view the Taurite livestream show online from their personal device.

If you have not received an email from Auckland Live by 6:15pm on Wednesday 16 September, please check your junk folder inside your email browser. If it is not there, please email us at online@aucklandlive.co.nz

Can I share this link and password with someone else?

The link is exclusive for ticket-buyers only. Make a night of it and get your friends and whānau over to enjoy the performance with you. 

If I join the live stream after 7:10 PM, can I still watch from the beginning?

No, the live stream is completely live, so when you join it will be in real time at whatever stage the performance is up to. However, after the show has finished you will have access to the full performance that evening until 11.59pm, Wednesday 16 September.

How is this event best viewed?

For the best experience we recommend you watch on your mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. Unfortunately this video link is not supported by Smart TV or streaming devices.

Why can’t I get Vimeo to load on my browser?

Three steps to try:

  1. Check your wifi connection is working
  2. If you are using an old version of Internet Explorer, instead try Chrome
  3. Restart your computer.

Yes. You will have access to the full performance until 11.59pm, Wednesday 16 September.
