The NZ Covid Tracer app QR code system is displayed in posters with QR codes at all our venues, including our cafes. We request all visitors sign in using the app.

Under Alert Level 1 we are complying with Ministry of Health guidelines, and have adopted best practice behaviours outlined by the NZ Events Sector Voluntary Code. The Code gives clear direction for venues to encourage customers to stay at home if they feel unwell, and makes the reallocation of tickets, or where necessary, ticket refunds for unwell patrons a priority.

The health and safety of our staff and visitors remains our primary concern, and while there are no longer restrictions on crowd numbers or physical distancing, hand sanitisers are placed throughout our venues for all to use, and all areas are regularly cleaned, and surfaces wiped.

We’re delighted to be at Alert Level 1 and to invite you back into our venues for some truly wonderful shows and performances.

There is already quite a bit happening, plus loads more coming in the next few weeks:

  • Te Moana Glow Show, Fri 9 Oct, Bruce Mason Centre
  • APO at the Opera, Fri 9 Oct, Auckland Town Hall
  • New Zealand Symphony Orchestra: Monumental, Sat 10 Oct, Auckland Town Hall
  • Morning Melodies, Mon 12 Oct, Bruce Mason Centre
  • Mary Poppins, 16 Oct – 1 Nov, The Civic
  • NZ Trio, 18 Oct, Auckland Town Hall

See more great shows and events coming to our venues in October and beyond, here.

Under Alert Level 1 conditions, BOX Café and Bar and BOX Container in the Square are operating to the guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health.

  • Contact tracing procedures are in place at entry.
  • Hand sanitisers are available on all counters and points of entry.
  • High touch areas are frequently cleaned, including each time a table is cleared.
  • Reusable and keep cups accepted.
  • Cash and card payment accepted.

Stark’s Café and Bar is currently only open during planned events taking place at The Civic.
