Now that the Aotea Centre Box Office has reopened, anyone who purchased tickets to cancelled events from there can get their refund across the counter.

For postponed/rescheduled shows, contact Ticketmaster first to submit a refund request before going to the Box Office.

If you have any queries about refunds for tickets you purchased online or over the phone you can get in touch Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster’s customer call centre is open Mon – Sun 9 am – 5 pm.

Do I need to sign in for contact tracing at Auckland Live venues?

Auckland Live has adopted the government’s voluntary NZ Covid Tracer app QR code system, which is displayed in posters with QR codes at all our venues, including our cafes.

Signing-in with the QR code is voluntary and enables Auckland Live to securely share visitor information with the Ministry of Health should the need arise.

Health and Safety

Under Alert Level 1 we are complying with Ministry of Health guidelines, and have adopted best practice behaviours outlined by the NZ Events Sector Voluntary Code. The Code gives clear direction for venues to encourage customers to stay at home if they feel unwell, and makes the reallocation of tickets, or where necessary, ticket refunds for unwell patrons a priority.

The health and safety of our staff and visitors remains our primary concern, and while there are no longer restrictions on crowd numbers or physical distancing, hand sanitisers are placed throughout our venues for all to use, and all areas are regularly cleaned, and surfaces wiped.

Eating and Drinking

Our delicious home cooked breakfasts are back on the menu at The Terrace Cafe, as well as our popular catering and venue hire services. You’ll also find sweet treats in the cabinet by the counter, fine wines, craft beers and ciders behind the bar, and some of the best coffee in town to enjoy while watching the world go by from the sunny terrace of the Aotea Centre.

Container in the Square is also serving hot drinks, snacks and cold drinks from its distinctive red container box in the heart of the Square. Open Monday to Friday, it’s the ideal spot for a quick snack stop or caffeine recharge.

Is Stark’s Café and Bar at The Civic open?

Stark’s Café and Bar is currently only open during planned events taking place at The Civic.
