Due to works associated with the construction of the City Rail Link in the Auckland CBD, from Tuesday 29 June 2021 the Victoria Street West (between Federal and Elliott Streets) and Albert Street intersection is closed to traffic.

The good news is that the Wellesley Street West and Albert Street intersection is re-opening to traffic on Sunday 27 June, including buses. 

City traffic can be unpredictable. We encourage you to factor in extra travel time if you are driving into the city or consider where possible taking public transport.

Or, beat the rush and come into town early to relax over a snack or drink at one of our cafes and bars before the show starts.

Car parks

Due to the unpredictable nature of Auckland city traffic, the Civic Car Park and other CBD-based parking may be full or difficult to get into when you come to one of our city venues. You can check on CBD car park availability using the AT real time parking app on the Auckland Live website.

Mobility parking is available at the Civic Car Park on a first come, first served basis.

Plan your trip in advance.

All Auckland Live shows have start times listed on their Auckland Live website pages. Please check these start times before you plan your journey to ensure you factor in enough travel time to get to the venue. Some shows have strict lock out policies which can restrict your entrance to the show if it has already started. Please approach one of our friendly front of house staff for assistance if you arrive at the venue and the performance is underway.
