It’s time to celebrate Auckland’s creative side with Art Week in the city!
October welcomes back Auckland’s annual Art Week in the City Centre, a regular staple of the creative calendar thanks to Heart of the City. With over 60 pop-up exhibitions, galleries, laneway installations, free art walks and more.
Embark on a trail to see art works in your own time (see the Aotea Centre and Aotea Square artworks here) or join walking tours led by experts thanks to Heart of the City.
Alongside the daytime exhibitions, don’t miss out on the popular Late Night Art taking place on Thursday 10 October from 5 – 9pm. Browse the after-hours art at the Ellen Melville Centre, check out a night of performances at Freyburg Place and get involved with the Late Night Latin Dancing at Aotea Square with Viva Dance from 7pm!
