A Cultural Fusion of Music and Dance.
The 2019 New Zealand – China Youth Art Festival
 
Aj&Elijah Co.Ltd and the Better Life Foundationproudly presents the Children’s Palace of C.W.I. who will be performing alongside the Chelsea Primary School,  Soprano singer Amanda Kirk, Chinese singer Yang Zhang (“The Voice of China”in2015 ) and the Auckland Dance Academy.
The Children’s Palace of CWI is located in Shanghai, China and every year tens of thousands of children go there 365 days a year to learn art, science and technology.  We are very happy to host 32 of their best performers in New Zealand for a short tour.  
 
It is a unique opportunity for you hear and watch stunning and varied performances.  Enjoy the unique charm of the Chinese Peking Opera.  A mixed performance of calligraphy, paper cutting and cucubitflute.  An amazing Kung Fu show and a Tai Chi display. A rare opportunity and not to be missed.  They will perform in Auckland and Tauranga for one show only.
 
Also appearing in the Auckland show will be the Auckland Dance Academy who will perform Yellow River.
 
Amanda Kirk is a 29-year-old renowned Soprano singer from Auckland who has performed extensively both overseas and locally.  Amanda has previously toured China with the Aotea Orchestral and has performed in a wide range of settings including opera, oratorio and choirs.  A registered Primary school teacher Amanda also teaches singing and works with school choirs.  Amanda will sing the famous Maori song Pokarekare Ana. 
 
The Kapa Haka and Choir from Chelsea Primary School will also present their amazing performance in the show.
