About the Artist

Paige is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Auckland, known for her honest, heartfelt songs and emotionally resonant storytelling. She lets her vulnerability inform her songwriting, exploring themes of growth, identity, heartbreak, and self-acceptance. Musically she combines pop structures with soulful vocals, R&B grooves, acoustic textures, and electronic production.

Paige began her musical journey at age nine when she picked up guitar, and as a teenager, she started uploading acoustic covers and original songs to YouTube under the handle “paigesspace”. These early DIY performances helped her build an organic fanbase and set the tone for her confessional songwriting style. Her visibility skyrocketed in 2019 when one of her Instagram videos was shared by Billie Eilish, bringing international attention to her work.

In 2020, Paige released her debut EP, ‘Always Growing’, which featured the standout singles ‘Too Much To H8’ and ‘Waves’. The EP dominated the Official New Zealand Charts and earned her Top 10 radio airplay in New Zealand. Remarkably, Always Growing was also certified Platinum in South Korea, further cementing Paige’s international appeal.

The success of the EP positioned Paige as one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most exciting emerging voices and earned her four nominations at the Aotearoa Music Awards across 2020 and 2024. In 2021, she received the Best Māori Female Solo Artist award at the Waiata Māori Music Awards. That same year, she lent her voice to the track ‘Dawn’, featured on the soundtrack for the Korean TV series High Class.

In 2022, Paige expanded her global presence through collaborations with Norwegian pop artist Peder Elias (‘When I’m Still Getting Over You’) and U.S. singer Ant Saunders (‘Miles Away’). She has toured with some of New Zealand’s biggest acts, including Drax Project and Six60, and performed at major festivals like Rhythm & Vines, Bay Dreams, Homegrown, and Peachy Keen. Paige has also opened for a wide range of international artists, such as George Ezra, Ruel, Alec Benjamin, Holly Humberstone, grentperez, Nina Nesbitt, G flip, Clinton Kane, Dylan, and Odette.
