Pastel City
By Olivia Hobman
5 Oct  – 18 Dec

Pastel City simulates a colourful and sprawling city that comes alive with the viewer’s movements.

Starting as a blank canvas,  vibrant and colourful building-like shapes are revealed as you move around the work  and discover a beautiful, randomly generated city.

Olivia Hobman is in her first year of a Bachelor of Creative Technologies at Auckland University of Technology ( AUT).

Liminal: Motion as Manifest
By Joshua Lewis
20 December to 26 February

Originally created as the first experimental performance under the working title of ‘live cinema’, Liminal is  a short film integrating the live, sculpturally manifested movement of a  dancer.

Fully  interactive, it combines movements from the film and real-time motion generated by the viewer, culminating  in one visual spectacle.

Joshua Lewis is a spatial designer, artist and creative technologist specialising in live performance and application of new media.

Joshua is currently working towards a Masters of Fine Arts at Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand.
