Bach Musica NZ returns to its roots under the expert direction of David Squire.
No stranger to the Auckland music scene, David has won numerous awards and accolades both domestically and abroad as the leader of the New Zealand Youth Choir. He is widely praised for his ability to inspire musicians of all ages, exemplified by his recent ‘Most inspiring conductor’ and ‘Choir of the world’ awards. David takes us back to an exciting and scintillating celebration of the season with his rendition of Handel’s Dixit Dominus and J.S. Bach’s Magnificat. Our amazing concertmaster Yanghe Yu opens the concert with his performance of Pärt's Fratres.
