We have been advised by the organisers of the event that this performance has been cancelled.
A statement from the organisers:
People who bought tickets to HTRK will be refunded automatically. But don’t despair, they are joining the Catacombs line up and will be playing on Saturday the 9th of October now, so grab a ticket to that while you can.
The CATACOMBS lineup now comprises HTRK, Sleep D, CS & Kreme, Silicon, Lauren Hansom, NativeBush, Keepsakes, Grecco Romank, Nice Girl, Kraus, and Alice Agnes.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
As part of our fourth journey into the CATACOMBS, we extend the weekender into a third evening with visionary electronica duo HTRK, aka Jonnine Standish and Nigel Yang, as they bring their live show to New Zealand for the first time this July.
Since 2003, HTRK have blazed a sprawling musical trail. Their early live shows caught the attention of ex-Birthday Party guitarist Rowland S. Howard, who went on to produce their now classic debut ‘Marry Me Tonight’. Since then, they have scored films, headlined sold-out international tours, collaborated with the revered Mika Vainio, and released a string of critically acclaimed records including Work (Work Work), Psychic 9-5 Club, and Venus in Leo. In this rare live performance, audiences will enter the depths of the Wintergarden and immerse themselves in HTRK’s sound universe, where Jonnine’s vocals carve through cavernous dub reverberations, mixed with frosted post-punk motifs and the gravelly imperfections of industrial.
HTRK (Live) is proud to be an event partner of Elemental AKL.
