ITM Auckland SuperSprint Fan Day

Get revved up for the Supercars’ return to the Auckland region, with a celebration of motorsport and a warm Auckland welcome for the Supercars drivers.

At the ITM Auckland SuperSprint Fan Day in Aotea Square, meet the drivers, get autographs and selfies, and take a close-up look at up to 50 classic cars.

Kiwis Shane van Gisbergen, Scott McLaughlin, Fabian Coulthard, Richie Stanaway, Andre Heimgartner and perennial favourites from across the ditch -  Jamie Whincup, Mark Winterbottom, Craig Lowndes, Garth Tander and Dave Reynolds - will all be there.

Covers band Hands Off will be providing entertainment, and fans can try their hand at the newly released Forza Horizon 3 game.

Activities in Aotea Square run from 11am – 2pm, with Supercars drivers on-site from midday until 1.15pm.

The Aotea Square event follows on from a display of American classic muscle cars in lower Queen St at 10am, and a cavalcade of drivers and their classics up Queen St at 11.40 am.

The ITM Auckland SuperSprint Fan Day is produced by Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED), in conjunction with Supercars and ITM, in the lead-up to the ITM Auckland SuperSprint at Pukekohe Park Raceway on 4 - 6 November, the only New Zealand fixture in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.
