It is with great regret that we are announcing the cancellation of the NZ International Comedy Festival 2020.

The decision, made by the NZ Comedy Trust, is the direct result of the Covid-19 outbreak, the travel restrictions now in place for our international performers, and the need to eliminate the risk of spread of the virus within Aotearoa.

 

Critically-acclaimed comedian and host of Vice’s Hate Thy Neighbour and Channel 4’s Adventures in Futureland in the UK, Jamali Maddix is returning to the Comedy Fest after his incredible 2018 world tour.

Jamali’s new show reflects on tales from the front line of social change and uncomfortable home truths.
