Auckland Live and Shake & Stir Theatre Co unfortunately advise that we have had to postpone the July school holiday season of Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox, until further notice.
We understand that this is disappointing news, but the recent impact of Covid-19 and continued uncertainty around border restrictions and quarantine periods for international visitors prohibit our ability to meet the schedule for this tour.
We hope to present Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox at the Bruce Mason Centre at a future date and look forward to keeping you informed of new season details.
For ticket holders booked to attend upcoming performances, refunds will be processed automatically – you do not need to contact us. Please allow 10 – 14 working days for your refund to be processed.
If your tickets were purchased from a Ticketmaster outlet, you will need to contact the Customer Service Team at Ticketmaster here and follow the instructions
No one outfoxes a fox, especially not the horrible and greedy farmers Boggis, Bunce, and Bean – one fat, one short, one lean.
When Mr Fox needs to save his family and friends, he’ll go to any lengths (above or underground) to outwit the mean humans. Join Mr Fox and his team of furry friends as they bounce, burrow and bewilder their way to safety. Packed with Dahlicious mischief, hilarious mayhem, and humongous belly laughs, Fantastic Mr Fox is the perfect holiday 'tail' for the whole clan.
You might have read the book or seen the movie – now chase your tail all the way to the theatre and experience this critically-acclaimed stage adaptation from the wacky mind of the world’s number-one storyteller first-hand. You won’t believe your eyes.
If you loved Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes & Dirty Beasts in 2019, then this is a show not to be missed!

“Lovingly crafted from Dahl’s book - no fan could fault. It was a winner in all departments of production. If you have children or grandchildren, take them along to see it, if you have neither, go anyway!"
