Kick-start the 2023 season with a concert of toe-tapping, sing-along classics performed by thirty talented musicians.
Kumeu Vintage Brass comprises over thirty-five experienced brass musicians - with the average playing experience being forty-four years! - many of whom have played in many brass bands in New Zealand and overseas.
They have established a reputation and following as a variety concert performer and have performed at numerous venues, playing what audiences love to hear and playing that well.
John Knowles has taken over from Graeme Gillies as Musical Director, leading the band forward into the future.
This performance is part of the Auckland Live Morning Melodies 2023 season.
In its 22nd year, this much-loved monthly concert series features a fantastic line-up of brass bands, jazz ensembles, and more. Arrive early and connect with friends new and old over complimentary tea and biscuits before the show.
