Classical piano maestro Michael Houstoun and renowned jazz artist and big band leader Rodger Fox are masters of their craft.

Following two very successful seasons, the NZ musical icons are coming together in 2017 for a series of concerts, blending the best of classical and jazz, along with special guests including singer Erna Ferry

The concert will feature material from their 2015 recording Concerti and new material by Grammy Award-winning composer and arranger Bill Cunliffe.

The programme will be drawn from:

• Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 (1st movement), arranged for piano and 18-piece big band by Bill Cunliffe
• Two new arrangements by Bill Cunliffe, featuring piano and jazz big band
• Te Wero Nui, composed and arranged by Bill Cunliffe
