Millions Missing is a global visibility campaign for sufferers of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and their carers. Often bed-ridden or with limited mobility, sufferers of this condition are often forgotten or missing from their own lives. The Millions Missing campaign is here to give them a voice on a global stage. There are around 16,000-20,000 sufferers in NZ alone! The 12th of May is ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, other chronic pain conditions and invisible illness awareness day. Join us at Aotea Square to show New Zealand that we are here, our illnesses are REAL, and we deserve attention.
