Multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, composer and band leader Robin Kelly has become a regular fixture on the Morning Melodies stage, delighting audiences with a gang of talented musician mates and as many instruments as they can carry. This time they're taking requests!
Robin and friends will curate a concert of the songs that get you grooving, proving that a true bop (as the kids say) really is timeless.
Robin has performed around New Zealand as a pianist with rock-icon-turned-chanteuse Julia Deans, worked the late-night cabaret clubs with stage legend Jennifer Ward-Lealand, and got as far as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his original show Valerie, a moving tribute to his grandmother which won the prestigious Fringe First award at its international debut.
This performance is part of the Auckland Live Morning Melodies 2024 season.
