Join the Royal New Zealand Navy Band on stage at the Bruce Mason Centre to celebrate 65 years of music and service.
This concert promises to be the very best of what you’ve come to know and love from the Navy Band. Military marches, virtuosic solos, tunes you know and love and, of course, our big band.
To bring our history to life, we’re also being joined on stage by previous members of the Navy Band to play for you once again.
Formed in 1960 after the Royal Marines Band were recalled, the Navy Band provides musical support to the Navy, Defence Force and Government for everything from formal Parades and state events to providing entertainment for service personal on camps and bases.
The Band regularly tours around New Zealand and the world, raising the profile of the Navy and lifting the spirits of communities through music.
