Since 2018, Soul Bossa Duo, a Brazilian ensemble led by Amanda Bovo (vocals) and Juliana Sian (piano), has been captivating audiences in New Zealand. Amanda Teixeira Bovo is a skilled singer with a captivating voice and extensive experience in Brazilian and Latin music. Juliana Sian, a versatile pianist, is committed to sharing the captivating beauty of Brazilian music in New Zealand through her performances and original compositions. 

Soul Bossa Duo has played at various Auckland venues, receiving praise for their concert "Black Pearls" in 2020. They also recently showcased their talents at the Waiheke Jazz Festival. Currently, they are studying for a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance at the University of Auckland.  

Their aim is to illuminate the vibrant and enchanting Brazilian culture through the universal language of music.
