Special Events

Summer’s settling in, so head to your favourite inner city hang out where you’ll find live performances, cool drinks and space to ‘lax back and enjoy the sunshine on offer.

Music man Matthew Crawley (Golden Dawn, Flying Out) has once again handpicked a delectable programme of live acts and DJs, happening every Thursday to Sunday, which pretty much guarantees awesome tunes.

Plus, every Friday evening wrap yourself up in your tinsel scarf and warm up your vocal chords as a selection of Tāmaki Makaurau’s wonderful choirs sing for Christmas shoppers in the Square.

And don’t forget to grab a selfie in front of the 12-metre tall Christmas tree!

Keep an eye out for January’s programme to be announced very soon, which includes performances by NZ Opera and the Royal New Zealand Navy Band.
