It’s hard not to fall in love with the sound of this brooding Americana-tinged Wellington quartet. Their live show is nothing short of stunning.

The youngest of the Sami Sisters creates ‘dreamy R&B from Onehunga’. You’d be hard pressed to find a more impressive voice than Priya “Trip Pony” Sami.

SoccerPractise performed Moana Maniapoto’s Tahi at the Silver Scrolls to critical acclaim and Peach Milk is the electronica producer of the minute.

Weaving tracks from Miami bass to the treble of Brazilian funk.

Dave Weir

Merk

Wednesday 14 December, 12.30pm – 1.15pm

In the damp safety of his basement, Merk has been slowly been developing his unique brand of songwriting, described as “if George Martin produced Pavement”.

New Farben

Thursday 15 December, 12.30pm – 1.15pm

Aotearoa’s princes of percussion, Julien Dyne (Ladi6), Parks (Ladi6), Chris O’Connor (The Phoenix Foundation), with jazz legend Jonathan Crayford.

Echo Ohs

Friday 16 December, 12.30pm – 1.15pm

Echo Ohs have had quite a year. Their swamp-soaked take on surf rock and formidable live shows have seen them go from strength to surfadelic strength!

LarzRanda

Saturday 17 December, 6.30pm – 7.30pm

A pop culture vulture, LarzRanda is not your average rap star. His hyper-coloured take on life, the universe and everything is infectious. There’s no party like this.
