Founded in 1864, New Zealand’s longest-running brass band is always a crowd-pleaser and not to be missed.
Based in Panmure, The Royal NZ Artillery Band is a brass band with strong military traditions and is New Zealand's oldest band with an unbroken playing history. They perform a full programme of both military and civilian engagements throughout the upper north island but mostly in the Greater Auckland area where there is the greatest demand.
This performance is part of the Auckland Live Morning Melodies 2023 season.
In its 22nd year, this much-loved monthly concert series features a fantastic line-up of brass bands, jazz ensembles, and more. Arrive early and connect with friends new and old over complimentary tea and biscuits before the show.
