Long Bay Primary present The Day the Crayons Quit, based on the picture books by Drew Daywalt.
Duncan and Darcy have been stuck inside for days on end, and still the rain won’t stop. When Mum suggests that the boys do a little drawing they look for their crayons, but find instead a pile of letters. Each letter is from a different coloured crayon and outlines their grievances with the boys, from being used too much or too little, to being left behind, left out in the sun, or in a spooky basement. The cast sing and dance their way through a rainbow of colours to find a solution and hopefully get the crayons to return home once more.
