The Royal New Zealand Ballet is delighted to confirm that Auckland performances of Venus Rising that were unable to take place on 10 - 12 March have been rescheduled.

New dates as follows:
Original date - Thursday 10 March, 7.30pm
New date - Thursday 8 December, 7.30pm

Original date - Friday 11 March, 7.30pm*
New date - Friday 9 December, 7.30pm*

Original date - Saturday 12 March, 7.30pm*
New date - Saturday 10 December, 7.30pm*

*Please note there will be a pre-performance talk before the performance on Friday 9 December, and Warm Up, Curtain Up will be available to watch before the performance on Saturday 10 December. These events were originally due to take place on Saturday 12 March and Friday 11 March and have now been swapped.

If you require a refund, please follow the steps here. It is imperative that you follow the instructions to ensure your request is actioned correctly.

Refund requests must be submitted prior to 5pm Friday 18 March 2022.

Presented alongside Autumn Ball, a tender new commission from one of New Zealand’s foremost choreographers, Sarah Foster-Sproull.

Warm Up, Curtain Up – Saturday 10 December, 6:20pm

Watch the RNZB dancers participate in class on stage as they prepare for the evening performance.
Free admission; meet in the theatre foyer 10 minutes before the event starts. Late comers may not be admitted.
