Spirit of the approaching Christmas and wonderful performances from the Smooglyanka dance troupe of ROCOR and the Artistry ballet n dance school to the music of famous composers like Tchaikovskiy, Vivaldi, Musorgskiy, Rimskiy-Korsakov, Svirodov, Minkus, Delib and etc, as well as invited guests: Tarara folk ensemble (Dalmatian club), Macedonian musicians, Chinese Association of West Auckland Folk Dance Group, Marina Bloom and her vocal group, Olga Shanina (famous Russian opera soloist), Michelle Cohen, Māori performers and many others.
The event consists of two parts and is perfect for the whole family, creating a Christmas and New Year atmosphere with an emphasis on cultural diversity. In the first part, you'll see classical and ballet performances, songs to the music of renowned composers that will help develop musical literacy in children and adults, as well as a magical fairy tale based on "Morozko" and "Moroz Ivanovich," performed by the Smooglyanka ensemble and Artistry ballet school.
In the second part, there will be a festival of diverse cultures: songs and dances representing Dalmatian, Macedonian, Māori, Chinese, Cossack, Russian, Greek, Georgian, Italian, French, and other traditions.
