We anticipate heavy traffic coming into the city, the Civic Car Park and other city centre-based parking may be full or difficult to get to due to road closures. Please factor in extra travel time when planning your journey.
Buses, trains and ferries will run according to weekend schedules. You may also choose to catch a taxi or other ride share services.

Road closures & street parking restrictions
The following road closures and parking restrictions apply this weekend. Please ensure you factor in extra travel time if you are planning to travel by car. The latest updates are available on the Auckland Transport website.
Parking Restrictions and Road Closure Times: Queen St (between Mayoral Dr and Wakefield St) will be closed from 8am until 12.45pm. Wakefield St (between Queen and Mayoral Dr), Rutland St (between Wakefield St and Lorne St), Victoria St and Queen St Intersection, Shortland St (between Queen St and Jean Batten Pl) Wellesley St ( between Queen St and Lorne St) and Queen St (between Wellesley St and Shortland St) and Queen St (between Customs St and Shortland St) will be closed from 11.30am until 1pm. Two traffic lanes on Custom Street West will be closed from 12.15 – 12.45 for parade vehicle dispersal.

The Terrace and Container in the Square
The Terrace will be open 90 minutes before all Aotea Centre shows on Sun 15 Mar.
Container in the Square will be open from 12pm - 10pm on Sun 15 Mar.
