For 40 years, Te Waka Huia has competed on the national kapa haka stage, winning the prestigious national title five times. In 2026, the kapa marks 45 years of dedication to Māori performing arts, music, education, and global representation.
Past and present members reunite with esteemed choral leader Karen Grylls, blending choral technique with te reo Māori. Joined by a bespoke invitational choir, this special performance celebrates musical collaboration, cultural connection, and 45 years of excellence.
