It’s just on 50 years since the massive album Days Of Future Passed was released to worldwide acclaim, and where in New Zealand where ‘Nights in White Satin’ and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’ (both written by Justin Hayward, who also sang the lead vocals) were big hits. In more recent times, Justin has been performing intimate acoustic sets of mostly Moody Blues classics, accompanied by keyboard player Julie Ragins, and virtuoso finger-style guitarist, Mike Dawes, who also opens the show with a solo set. Justin Hayward’s 90-minute set includes gentle and humorous interaction with his audience, covering his career and the music that has influenced him.
