Enjoying a pleasure cruise down the Thames, King George I was serenaded by Handel’s music, played by an orchestra perched uneasily on a barge. The APO will be more comfortable! Handel is particularly close to Graham Abbott’s heart, and it should be a real treat to hear him talk about this music.
