After receiving rave reviews at its 2018 Kia Mau Festival premiere, the life-affirming, verbatim play Barrier Ninja comes to Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau.
Barrier Ninja is about hauora/health and weaves together nine very personal stories about experiences with the New Zealand health system – from medical professionals to patients and whānau.
Created by Fran Kewene (Waikato / Maniapoto Tainui) and performed by Julie Edwards (Ngāti Whakaue, Ngāti Whare).
"Storytelling at its best" - Theatreview. Read the full review here.
Barrier Ninja and Sorry for your Loss are an Auckland Live Matariki Festival double bill. Book them both at a Box Office or by phoning 0800 111 999 for $40 total (plus service fees), saving you $20!
