Direct from a tour of the United States, Black Grace returns to centres around Aotearoa to share a programme choreographed by Founding Artistic Director, Neil Ieremia (ONZM), including two New Zealand premieres.
O Le Olaga - Life, a reimagining of Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria in D Major.
Fatu, inspired by visual artist Fatu Akelei Feu’u (ONZM) performed to an original soundtrack both live and recorded.
See Black Grace at its finest, bringing together a company featuring some of New Zealand’s most accomplished contemporary and traditional Pacific dancers. For one performance only, Black Grace’s distinct style of “exhilarating, seemingly inexhaustible energy” (New York Times), is not to be missed.
