Artist change: Anna Coddington to replace Ladi6 in APO concert

Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) regrets to announce that Ladi6 has withdrawn from her upcoming performance with the APO on 6 April, due to illness.

Ladi6 was scheduled to perform with other contemporary New Zealand artists in the APO concert Bowie.Starman, and has expressed her disappointment and offered her apologies to Auckland audiences. The APO wishes her the very best for a speedy recovery.

We are, however, delighted to announce that New Zealand singer Anna Coddington will step in and perform in Ladi6’s place. Anna has previously been a Silver Scrolls finalist, is regularly involved in the Fly My Pretties collaboration, and has released three albums to critical acclaim.

This will be Anna’s debut performance with the APO, and she says she is looking forward to presenting her interpretations of David Bowie’s music with the backing of a full symphony orchestra. “I've always been a big Bowie fan,” Anna says. "I’m also a great fan, and friend, of the other artists involved, and working with the APO is going to be very special – I can’t wait to do this show!”

All other concert details remain as advertised.
