Join the APO and Auckland’s favourite high-energy, comedy dance troupe Dynamotion for Carnival of the Animals as you’ve never seen it before.
Saint-Saëns’ much-loved Carnival of the Animals is a humorous orchestral suite of fourteen pieces. This musical menagerie, packed with majestic lions, braying donkeys, stately elephants, bouncing kangaroos, a serene swan, and an aquarium of glimmering fish, gets a fresh, fun-filled update.
This will be a wonderful interactive show for the whole family. Super-talented, playful Dynamotion-dactors (dancing actors) including Chris Parker, Alice Canton, and Tom Sainsbury, also choreographed by Tom and Lara Fischel-Chisholm, will guide you through the magical musical score, bringing the animals to life through outrageous movement, costumes, and puppets.
