NZSO’s Andrew Joyce features as soloist in Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme – Tchaikovsky’s most famous piece for cello. 

Schubert’s ‘Unfinished’ Symphony – which combines romantic, lyrical impulses with dark melancholic undertones – is instantly recognisable.

We also feature Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune and Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet, two works that never lose their power to bewitch audiences.
