This art exhibition is Da Vinci Talk's first exhibition in New Zealand. The theme, Wait and Hope, comes from The Count of Monte Christo by Alexandre Dumas, and features the works of nine young artists from two of China’s most famous art universities. The artists have used their beautiful brushstrokes to express their unique interpretations of Wait and Hope. The event is part of the Artweek Auckland 2020 programme and promotes a cross-cultural exchange between China and New Zealand. It hopes to bring a fresh perspective of contemporary Chinese society and encourages the sharing of ideas and understanding.
