Following Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau's move to Covid Alert Level 2, we are thrilled to confirm that the Auckland season of Dr Drama Makes A Show With You is going ahead at the Aotea Centre.

Please note, due to unforeseen circumstances the Saturday 19 Feb 1pm show has been cancelled. In addition, the 11am Saturday performance will now take place at 12pm. If you were booked for the 1pm show and would still like to attend, tickets are available for the 12pm, 3pm and 5pm Saturday performances. All other performances are scheduled for their original times.

Dr Drama and our crew feel so lucky to be able to stage this unique and special performance for you. Please note: We are following all Alert Level 2 requirements for an event of this size.

Traditional conventions will be under scrutiny as James creates a fun and highly interactive theatre experience exploring the origins of dramatic performance, to reflect on themes of loneliness and connection.

A love letter celebrating what live theatre can uniquely do for us, as well as a pointed critique of how theatre can fall short, Dr Drama Makes A Show With You attempts to give voice to both performer and audience to empower and elevate critical perspectives.
